COUNTDOWN:

Welcome message

Dear readers,

Biofuels emerged in the world as a certain alternative to help mitigate the effects of the use of fossil fuels both in global warming – by its greenhouse gas emissions – and for the reduction of emissions of particulate matter to the breathing atmosphere, they cause thousands of premature deaths and respiratory diseases.

I am pleased to announce that this year we will be holding the IV International Biofuels Conference on April 26, 27 and 28 in the city of Cali with the slogan “Accelerating the energy transition”, organized by the National Biofuels Federation of Colombia.

In this opportunity we will present the scenarios by which biofuels are currently considered as allies to contribute to the security, sovereignty and global energy transition, as well as the national and international panorama of new advanced biofuels for use in air, land and maritime transport.

 Kind regards,

JORGE BENDECK OLIVELLA
Executive Chairman
National Biofuels Federation of Colombia
